Spinach & Lentil Bhuna
A delicious lentil curry with spinach

Shopping list
2 Tbsp oil
1 medium red onion – sliced
110g button mushrooms - quartered
1 x 300g can green lentils, rinsed and drained
1 jar Sharwood’s Bhuna Sauce
150g spinach leaves, finely shredded
2 Tbsp Sharwood’s Green Label Chutney
1 Tbsp freshly chopped coriander
Cooking Method
• Heat the oil in a wok or deep-sided frying pan add the onion and fry for 4 minutes until just soft and beginning to brown, add the mushrooms and fry for a further 2 minutes.
• Add the lentils, and sauce, simmer for 5 minutes.
• Just prior to serving, add the spinach and chutney stirring gently until the spinach has just wilted.
• Garnish with coriander.
Delicious served with Sharwood’s warmed Naan Bread
