Spinach & Lentil Jalfrezi
A delicious lentil curry with mushrooms and spinach

2 Tbsp vegetable oil
1 can (300g) green lentils, rinsed & drained
1 small onion - diced
110g button mushrooms, quartered
1 Jar Sharwood's Jalfrezi
150g spinach leaves, finely shredded
Cooking Method
Heat the oil in a wok or deep-sided frying pan.
Fry the onion and mushrooms in the oil for 4-5 minutes until just soft.
Add the lentils and continue frying for 5 minutes.
Add the sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
Just prior to serving, stir in the spinach, stir gently until the spinach has wilted.
