Indonesian Warm Salad
A crisp vegetable salad coated in a spicy peanut sauce, a delicious lunch or supper dish.

150g green beans - halved
½ cucumber
150g white cabbage or Chinese leaves - shredded
150g beansprouts
2 Eggs - hard boiled and quartered
1 jar Sharwood's Indonesian Satay
25g salted peanuts - chopped
Cooking Method
Plunge the beans in boiling water for 2 mins, remove and leave to cool. Cut the cucumber in half lengthways; scoop out the seeds and discard, cut into thick slices. Arrange cabbage on a serving dish; layer with beansprouts and green beans and top with cucumber. Heat Satay Sauce, and add a little more water if the sauce is too thick. Pour sauce over vegetables, garnish with the boiled eggs and chopped peanuts.
