Vegetable Dhansak
This sweet and sour lentil based sauce originates from Persia. We have simmered lentils, lemon juice and tomatoes with a fried blend of selected spices.

2 Tbsp vegetable oil
1 medium onion - diced
450g (1lb) Mixed vegetables - carrots, potatoes, courgettes and aubergines
1 jar Sharwood's Dhansak Cooking Sauce
Cooking Method
Fry 1 chopped medium onion until golden brown. Add the vegetables. Add the contents of this jar. Simmer for 20 min, or until the vegetables are tender.
