Pan fried cod in jalfrezi sauce
Jalfrezi is a lightly spiced and slow cooked with red and green peppers for a fresh fruity taste that is delicious poured over pan fried fish for a quick supper dish.
Preparation time: 5 mins
Cooking time: 10 mins
Serves: 3
Shopping list:
1 Tbsp oil
1 large courgette cut into batons
350g thick cod fillets
1 jar of Sharwood's Jalfrezi Cooking Sauce
Method:
| 1) Heat the oil in a large frying pan. 2) Stir-fry the courgettes for 5 mins until they’re just beginning to soften, then remove from the pan and keep warm. 3) Pan fry the fish for 3 mins on each side, until just cooked. 4) Place the fish on a serving dish with the courgette and keep warm. 5) Gently heat the sauce through, pour it over the fish and serve immediately. |
