Grilled Rich Soy Chicken
Sharwood's Rich Soy Sauce is used as a marinade to give a dark, savoury flavour to the chicken

Shopping list:
2 chicken breasts or 4 chicken thighs
6 Tbsp Sharwood’s Rich Soy Sauce
1 Tbsp chopped fresh ginger
1 Tbsp clear honey (optional)
3 spring onions, sliced
Method:
1) Score the chicken and make diagonal cuts into the meat.
2) Marinade the chicken in the Rich Soy Sauce and ginger for 20 minutes.
3) Drain the chicken and mix the marinade with honey.
4) Grill the chicken for 5-10 minutes each side until chicken is well cooked, glaze with honey marinade during cooking.
5) Alternatively, roast the chicken or for a more authentic flavour cook on a barbecue.
6) Garnish with spring onions and serve immediately with a lightly dressed green salad.

Using a steamer
Traditionally the Chinese use bamboo steamers stacked one on top of the other. The food is placed in order of tenderness, the slowest to cook at the bottom of the stack closest to the steam source.
