Beef and broccoli in oyster sauce
Sharwood's Oyster Sauce is made to an authentic Chinese recipe and contains the extract of real oysters and gives a delicious savoury flavour to stir-fry dishes.

Shopping list:
1 small head of broccoli broken into small florets
2 Tbsp vegetable oil
2 cloves garlic finely sliced
350g frying beef sliced
2cm piece ginger finely sliced
½ bottle Sharwood's Oyster Sauce
Method:
1) Blanch the broccoli in boiling water for 2 minutes and drain well.
2) Heat the oil in a wok or deep frying pan.
3) Stir-fry the garlic and ginger over a high heat for 1 minute.
4) Add the beef and stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until browned and almost cooked.
5) Add the broccoli and stir-fry for a further 2 minutes.
6) Add the oyster sauce, tumble the meat and broccoli until well coated and the sauce is heated through.

Cooking Tip
Stir frying
Try to use a wok for stir-frying, although a large frying pan or saucepan will do. Something that’s essential for stir-frying is instant control of the heat, so a gas ring is preferable to an electric one.
